The customer service at this particular location is severely lacking. There are only a couple of employees here that project a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, which is perplexing because the general climate at other locations is much more upbeat and friendly. For the most part at this store, the younger staff in particular seem to reflect today's entitlement-snowflake demeanor as if they are doing me a favor by just being there instead of having a service based attitude. The guy who runs the place is grumpy and has no people skills whatsoever, but ironically the smiling brunette lady who runs the front end and seems to also share in management is awesome. I say fire the dude, promote the lady, and spank the kids.

I have been an enthusiastic regular customer of tractor supply since it opened up in Montgomery years ago. So when I heard of the store opening in my backyard I have been elated. So far I guarantee you that I've spent over 2k in dog food, dog supplies, fencing, and pumping supplies for agricultural use. Well after this past weekend, tallassee tractor supply will not be getting my business, nor will it enjoy the referrals that I used to hand out lavishly. A general manager should know that treating a customer politely is always the right course. I honestly cannot remeber the last time I've ever been talked to in such a manner by someone on a management team at any chain store. As for me, I'll drive to Chantilly to Home Depot or driven to the tractor supply on 231 where the staff lows how to treat their customers.
